One
of CAP's primary missions is Aerospace Education. Both internally
as part of the Cadet Program, and as a resource for professional
educators.
Each
year, Civil Air Patrol hosts the premiere conference for Aerospace
Education. The National
Congress on Aviation and Space Education (NCASE) is open to
all educators and provides a standards-based syposium aimed at helping
teachers bring aviation and space science into the class room.
Group
4 AE personnel not only bring a focus on physics, math, and history
into the CAP program, they act as a resource for schools throughout
our operational area and beyond. Group 4 pilots and aircrews provide
a hands-on approach through orientation flights for teachers, CAP
Cadets, and Air Force ROTC students.
