How to Join Civil Air Patrol
How old do I need to be to join CAP?

Civil Air Patrol's cadet program is designed for youth age 12 (or attending the sixth grade) through 20 years old. Once a cadet turns 21 years old they automatically are enrolled in our adult program.

Civil Air Patrol's adult program is designed for those who join that are 18 years old and older.
