The Lunken Cadet Sguadron is composed primarily of cadets, with almost all of the seniors assisting in that area.

Squadron Commander Bio
Capt James Sigafoose has been a member of the Civil Air Patrol program since October 2015 and assumed command of the Lunken Cadet Squadron in May 2022. Capt Sigafoose has earned technician ratings in Cadet Programs, Education and Training,Safety and a Senior Rating in Personnel. Prior to joining the Civil Air Patrol, Capt Sigafoose served four years in the United States Marine Corps, as well as seven years in the Ohio Army National Guard. Capt Sigafoose earned his Associates Degree in Business Administration from ITT Technical Institute in 2012. He currently resides in the Cincinnati area with his wife and two children.
