The Lt Col Jerome P. Ashman Composite Squadron is comprised of both senior and cadet members, conducting both the senior program and cadet program.

Squadron Commander Bio

Lt Richard Farina is the Commander for GLR-OH-145. Lt Farina has over 37 years professional experience in the aviation industry with significant exposure in customer support, marketing, program management, sales, compliance, and training. He is a Senior Sales Director at GE Aviation and has resided in the Mason, OH area since 2015 and has been a senior member with the Civil Air Patrol since 2018.

Lt Farina has a business management bachelors degree and a strategic management MBA. He is married with three (3) children and five (5) grandchildren.
