Medina (OH-219)
Medina County Skyhawks Composite Squadron
As a composite squadron, the membership focus is on cadets, cadet sponsors/parents, and active adult members. Weekly meetings are mainly aimed at advancing cadets through the CAP Cadet Program. The focus of OH-219 is to teach the CAP core values of integrity, volunteer service, excellence, and respect in conjunction with character development, leadership, emergency services, physical fitness, and aerospace activities. Weekly meetings are intended to provide cadet staff members the opportunity to perform various leadership roles and serve as mentors to junior cadets by leading/facilitating cadet training activities. Meetings vary week-to-week to provide a number of training experiences based on the squadron's training plan and strategic unit goals.
